A freestyle BMX game for iPhone from Berman Digital Ltd.
Open Multiplayer and tap FREE JAM to ride with riders from anywhere: it puts you in a public jam of up to eight riders, or opens one that the next riders land in. A jam moves to a new map every four minutes; in the last minute of a map, tap the map you want next to vote for it. To ride with friends, create a room and share its code. Friends choose Join room and enter that code. Select Ride to enter the park. The host chooses the location from the pause menu. Up to eight riders can join.
Open the BMX shop from the start or pause menu. Build your bike part by part from basic, pro, race, mid-school and old-school components, paint every part, and keep several bikes in your garage. Riding earns credits and experience; levels unlock rarer parts, finishes and extra bike slots. Watch a rewarded ad from Home or the end of a ride to double the credits riding earns for 30 minutes, once every two hours. Choose your username and rider style in the shop too. Your saved bikes ride offline; purchases and changes require a connection.
Open Friends (the people button at the top of the start screen) and add a friend by their exact username, or tap Add friend on a rider in your room's lobby. Once they accept, you see who is online and which room they ride in: tap Join to ride with them, or invite them from your room's lobby. Requests and invites wait for you until you next open the app; invites end with their room.
Sign in to Game Center and your account comes back on a new iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Game Center account. Without Game Center, open Settings → Account → Another device on both devices: show a code on the old one and enter it on the new one within 15 minutes. Settings → Account → Delete account deletes it for good.
Use the left stick to pedal, reverse and steer. Tilt the right stick for manuals. Pull it down, then release to hop; sweep sideways before releasing to add rotation. In the air, use the right stick to rotate. Tap Barspin or Tailwhip again to attempt another trick in the same jump.
The upper buttons release the left and right hands; the lower buttons release the left and right feet. Hold both hands for a no-hander, both feet for a no-footer, or all four for a nothing. Release to catch before landing.
Tap Stunt above the left stick for a stunt air: push the left stick sideways for a whip or tabletop (pull down too for a turndown), hold the right stick deep down or up to charge a bikeflip and let go to throw it, and the hand and foot buttons throw tire grabs, a suicide no-hander, no-foot can-cans and a superman. It lasts until you land.
BMX 2000 has no chat: usernames and the way riders look are all riders share. Ride by the rules: no offensive names or looks, no cheating, no bullying. Usernames with slurs, profanity or sexual words, or that pass for staff, are refused, and a name like that already in use shows to other riders as a neutral name (such as Rider 0427) until it is changed.
To report a rider, tap the flag on their slot in the room lobby or on their row in the standings, or open their profile, then choose Report and why: offensive name, offensive look, cheating or something else. We review every report within 24 hours, rename offensive names and remove riders who break the rules; a name several riders report is hidden at once while we review it. Choose Block to stop seeing a rider: their name and look show to you as a neutral rider, they can't send you friend requests or invites, and quick join never puts you in a public room together. Settings → Account → Blocked riders lists them, with Unblock.
To report anything else or ask about a report, email bermanoleg@gmail.com with the rider's name, the room code and what happened.
